Right on. Integrity is everything.
Really interesting. I’m a music teacher and recent CrossFit disciple (I just did both the CF and CFE workouts today – whew!). I have to admit that I’m one of those private music teachers who will take anyone, regardless of how hard they work/practice. I feel iike the kids who are less interested need a good teacher the most, and I take that as a challenge.
However, what you say makes a lot of sense. Basically, by keeping poor or unmotivated students, you’re making yourself look bad as a teacher, which hurts your business. When they see all the great athletes coming out of your program, people will notice and be attracted to your gym … the right kinds of people. I like your philosophy.
